Montcada (Túnel nº 5 topo)

La boca és un pou vertical de secció quadrada i 1,9 m de fondària que comunica amb una galeria esglaonada de 22 m de longitud amb secció de 0,8 x 1 m que baixa fins la cota -12 m amb rumb NW/SE. Al peu de les escales hi ha un forat al terra que dóna a una cambra inferior, després de flanquejar-lo arribem a una galeria de 1 x 1,20 m i 7,6 m de recorregut on s'obren dues obertures laterals que porten a un túnel horitzontal de 38 m de llarg, 1,8 m d'ample i 1,9 m d'alçada, ple de pols de ciment, que finalitza obturat per un bloc de pedra que impedeix sortir a l'exterior. La petita galeria anterior acaba en un forat al terra, llarg i ample, que es pot desgrimpar sense dificultat accedint a una cambra rectangular de 11,5 x 9 m de planta i 6 m d'alçada, a -18 m de fondària. En aquesta sala s'hi troben una rampa metàl·lica per abocar material a alguna mena de maquinària pesant de la que avui només resta la plataforma de formigó que la sostenia i una tolba sota la qual neix un estret i baix conducte ple de runa. A l'extrem SW neix una galeria horitzontal 43 m amb secció rectangular de 1,4 x 2,10 m que finalitza interceptant una altra galeria perpendicular enderrocada en ambdós extrems. A pocs metres del seu final, al sostre, hi ha un petit forat que comunica amb una cambra superior.

The small gallery just ends above a hole in the ground, far and wide, which can be easily download gaining access to a rectangular chamber of 11.5 x 9 m of floor and 6 meters high, we are18 m deep above the sourface. In this room there are a metal ramp to dump material in some kind of heavy machinery of which today remains the only platform that held her and a hopper in the birth of a narrow, low-duct full of rubble.

In the far SW born a horizontal gallery of 43 m long with rectangular cross-section of 1.4 x 2.10 m, ending intercepted by another gallery demolished on both ends. A few meters away from its end, the roof, there is a small hole that communicates with an upper chamber.
