El
creixement de la ciutat en els anys seixanta
va significar la desaparició dels camps i els horts que es regaven
amb les aigües de la font de Canyelles; els safarejos van ser
substituïts per rentadores que funcionen amb aigua portada des del
riu Ter i en 1970 es va reomplir la riera per construir-hi el parc de
la Guineuta. Tot això va significar no tant sols la desaparició
del curs mig del torrent de Canyelles i de la vella canonada si no la
creació d’una nova galeria subterrània, calia una conducció que
canalitzés les aigües pluvials procedents de la muntanya que tard o
d’hora acabarien enduien-se el parc.
Situació: Al bell mig de la riera, al peu de la tanca del Poliesportiu Municipal de Roquetes. Coordenades UTM 31T 0430695 4588975 Z 151 m Descripció: La galeria està feta amb canonada de formigó amb volta de canó, de 1.5 m d'alçada, i una amplada que varia des dels 90 cm fins al 65 cm. Al terra hi ha una canaleta de 10 a 12 cm de fondària i una o dues voreres, d'ample variable, segons la canaleta corri pel centre o per un costat. Baixa clarament cap el sud, amb una inclinació de 2 a 5 º, excepte en els dotze trams d'escales, que tenen una pendent entre 16º i 30º. Hi ha nombrosos pous ascendents en el sostre així com d'altres canonades que comuniquen lateralment La meitat superior de la claveguera, més moderna que la inferior, disposa de baranes a les escales i barres horitzontals al mig de la galeria que interrompen el pas cada cop que ens acostem a un pou o escala. Al peu de les escales hi ha bassals de solatge. La galeria termina en un pou de secció quadrada que comunica amb el sostre d'un col·lector més gran, des d'on puja un fort brogit d'aigües. En aquest punt som sota la Ronda de Dalt. El recorregut és de 568 m i la fondària de 58 m. |
The growth of the city of Barcelona in the sixties meant the
disappearance of the fields and orchards that are watered with water from the
source Canyelles; the whasing-places were
replaced by washing machines fed with water coming from the river
Ter and in 1970 the creek was refilled to build the Guineuta's Park.
This meant not only the dissappearence of the middle course of
the stream of Canyelles and the old pipe unless the creation of a new
underground gallery, had a channel that carry the rainwater from the
mountain that sooner o later drag down the park. Location: On the middle of the creek, at the bottom of the fence of the Poliesportiu Municipal de Roquetes. UTM Coordinates 31T 0430695 4588975 Z 151 m Description: The gallery is made of concrete pipe with round vault, 1.5 m hight and a width varying from 90 to 65 cm. In the floor is a tray 10 to 12 cm deep and one or two kerbs of variable width depending on the tray runnig by center or on one side. Go down clearly to the south with an inclination of 2 to 5º, except in the twelve flights of stairs that have a slope of 16 to 30ª. There are numerous wells upward in the ceiling and other pipes that connect laterally. The upper half of the culvert, more modern than the lower, have handrails in the stairs and horizontals bars in the middle of the gallery that interrupt the passage whenever we approach a well or stair. At the foot of the stairs are ponds for dreg. The gallery ends in a well of square secction connected with the ceiling of a larger collector, where rises a strong noise of water. At this point we are under the Ronda de Dalt. The distance travelled is 115 m and the deep 58 m. |
